As a consolation, his father asks the king for Leon to come with them to the lab to work on the Lacour Hope. Meanwhile, Claude is still wondering about their situation, but is hopeful that the king will grant them his permission to leave and reach the continent of El. His hopes seem to fall rather sharply after the king's last comment (see screenshot), but let's just wait and listen closely, it might not be as it seems.
