...Now you know why I hate the king of Lacour. Actually, taken out of context, this sentence sounds harsher than it is, but surely it's no way to start a conversation where you actually want to ask for help.
Leon shows the king that their mission has been successful, his mother and father next to him: the kid thought he'd get some praise from his parents, but all he gets is an 'Act properly in front of His Majesty, Leon'. As a consolation, his father asks the king for Leon to come with them to the lab to work on the Lacour Hope. Meanwhile, Claude is still wondering about their situation, but is hopeful that the king will grant them his permission to leave and reach the continent of El. His hopes seem to fall rather sharply after the king's last comment (see screenshot), but let's just wait and listen closely, it might not be as it seems.
