From Hilton to Lacour it's just a short walk, but you cannot ignore all those dangerous monsters roaming the plains. The castle town is still deserted, but the enemy hasn't reached it yet; that's no reason to take it easy though, as there's a lot of work yet to be done, and Leon knows it. On the other hand, Claude and the others are looking forward to the reward the king of Lacour might offer them for their help, or at least some congratulations and his trust.
