Um, is this a Tournament contestant? I guess he doesn't shave very often... What?! It's a monkey?! Then why is it fighting in the Tournament? ... ok, so what if the rules allow that, how could it sign in in the first place?
It's not only this, even the next opponent is a kind of monster, resembling what Alen Tax had turned into in the Salva mine. Lacour is crazy, I tell you...
Rena couldn't make it in time to watch Claude fight, but she congratulates with him nonetheless; Claude then sees Dias enter the Arena and easily beat his first adversary. Rena briefly explains that some people hid Dias's weapon to let him out of the Tournament: it turns out they were careless enough to get drunk at the tavern shortly afterwards, only to be beaten to a pulp by Dias and Rena. It appears Mr. Flac got his hands on 'Sharpness', a weapon forged by famed swordsmith Jamgee (Grandpa Jamgee for his friends), thanks to Rena and Suphia, Jamgee's granddaughter: you can go through the whole thing if you play with Rena instead of Claude.
You know what, forget about the argument between Claude and Rena: it just settles out eventually, especially if you manage to get Claude into the finals of the Tournament, but I lost interest in it already, and it keeps my attention away from my main objective, that is recruiting all the female party members of of the game. Claude needs to win two more fights before he can fight against Dias in the finals, only to lose miserably and delay our journey to El even more (remember? It's the continent where the Sorcery Globe had landed. What's that, you ask? I frankly don't care anymore).
I'm taking a break for Easter, I have no more screenshots to show and I probably won't be able to play the game for a while.
