I personally found the wording of that sentence funny.Before all the knights and soldiers in the fort give up to complete despair at the sight of the monstrous horde, here comes Leon! With an enthusiastic, boisterous and childish voice (which would have sounded funny had we an audio sample to hear it), the little scientist shouts a reassuring 'We don't need any meaningless fighting!'. Then, running towards the Lacour hope, he... stops by Claude's group and starts talking to Precis!
